Thunder Sons

Comprised of three Dahms brothers Taylor (Drums and Vocals), Connor (Guitar and Vocals), and Micah (Bass and Keys) Thunder Sons formed in 2013.The Dahms siblings had spent their early youth honing their craft under the tutelage of their musician grandfather. An alt-garage rock sound quickly emerged. With their parents unconditional support the brothers were encouraged to be creative and find their own sound.
 
All three boys started their musical careers as pianists, but Taylor started playing drums and Connor eventually started playing guitar, while Micah continued as a multi-instrumentalist.

" We have always tried to become something unique, the will to be different sets every band apart. My favorite thing about being original is not being a cover band and having your work handed to you. We work so hard to play soul music, and not the genre. Real music comes from your soul, so we strive to be appealing to every walk of life. We want this record to inspire and bring people together" says Taylor.

“The sound of this record touches on most of our musical influences, a bit of soul, a bit of song craftsmanship and some good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll”, says Micah.

WuLi Records took note, signing the band in 2016 to a development deal and facilitating a partnership with Chicago-based producers Ryan McGuire and Louis J. Svitek who produced their multi-genre debut EP PEOPLE.

PEOPLE is a tale of events and influences that converge to create a unique piece of work. PEOPLE features elements of the Thunder Sons dedication, passion and ability to think outside the box for their music and their fans. PEOPLE is melody, passion, and conviction to stay true to their music and with their faithful supporters; and that is an anthem for the PEOPLE.
